ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE V4.08: This system is designed to handle the unique requirements of newspaper publication. A/R handles the tracking and billing of advertisers for newspapers, magazines and shoppers— everything from contracts to multi-zone publications. (The upgrade version of the Synaptic A/R available, version 4.7,  contains any bug fixes since 1998, additional fields for customer sales contacts and fax numbers, and added fields for reports and statements.)

• Keeps detailed transactions for unlimited length of time. 

• Search by name, key, phone or zip.

• User definable reports, statements and invoice generators.

• Handles contracts, ad agency accounting, commissions, job work and co-op billing.

• Allows balance forward and/or open items accounting methods.

• Automatically calculates rates based on inches, word lines, SAU or inserts.

AD SCHEDULING V4.6 (Add on): When added to A/R this add on program reduces the dependency on multi-pieces of paper and reduces errors.

• Transfers billing automatically to A/R.

• Checks the customer’s credit and alerts the operator.

• Schedules ads into a run sheet on issues basis.

• Allows printing or reports in total inches or dollars, by section, sales person, etc.

• Provides manifest reports by size and section, accompanying notes to  production, specifying placement,  color or other pertinent information for layout.

• Creates a transfer file that can be used by several dummying/pagination systems.

ADVANCE SUBSCRIPTION MANAGER V1.7.6: Takes control of mailing list and related functions.

 (Includes  mandatory changes required by the USPS July 17, 2007)

• Has provisions for alternate billing and vacations.

• Complies with all USPS periodical  regulations.

•  Import  & Export module for CASS Certification.

• Full featured label generator, supports bar coding for labels, renewals, bills.

• Prints zips + 4 and carrier route information.

• Handles single or multiple lists.

• Generates postal form 3541 and reports and automatically uses transaction data to  report all statistics for bulk  mailing according to postal regulations.

• Generates renewal notice in your choice of format.

• Includes Canada Post Sorts.

• Adds foreign zones to 3541.

• New address comparison module  with new build router for Subscriber list from different CDS list.

CIRCULATION MANAGER V1.4: This system is a complete management system designed to automate a publication’s distribution needs.

• Provides control of route information, drop sequence, instructions  and controls carrier route paths.

• Handles all accounting for each carrier, dealer, paper rack or coin box. 

• Audit Bureau information tracks carrier draw list, return report.

• Handles carrier savings, payroll and 1099 forms.
