The new SunType E-Mail Server can help you save a large part of your
billing and postage expenses by allowing you to send invoices,
statements and even marketing information to customers directly from
SunType via e-mail.
Increasingly, routine business communications like invoices and
statements are handled using
efficient and economical electronic delivery. The SunType E-Mail Server
will save you time and money every time you use it.
SunType
E-Mail Server accepts input from the SunType Classified Advertising
System for invoices and statements.
Also supports current versions of Synaptic Accounts Receivable and
Subscription programs.
The input format is published and can be adapted to send properly
formatted information from a variety of sources.
Maintains a record of e-mail activity showing what has been sent,
and when.
Includes a document editor to allow e-mail documents to be edited
and re-sent in the event of problems or errors.
Works with internal or external SMTP relays, including a pre-specified backup in case the primary service isn't available.
Allows "opt-in"processing to automatically segregate customers who wish to receive regular USPS delivery.
Version 1.0 supports batch processing. Planned future enhancements will include support for over-the-counter (on demand) invoices from the SunType Classified System.
